About me.

Hello, I’m Joey Biener, and I’m excited to share a bit about my journey and why I’m running for mayor. My path to this point has been shaped by a lifelong commitment to service and community.

I joined the Army at 19, driven by a desire to serve my country, and my family and to make a difference. In just six years, I worked my way up the ranks quickly achieving Sergeant by year three, learning the values of leadership, dedication, and teamwork. My military career was cut short by a medical condition, but the lessons I learned remain with me every day.

After leaving the Army, I transitioned into the world of audio-visual integration and sales engineering. My technical expertise and passion for customer service allowed me to thrive in this field, but it was my genuine love for helping others that truly defined my success.

Currently, I work as a bartender, where I continue to engage with and support my community. Even though my role is different now, the essence of my service—creating connections, solving problems, and fostering a sense of belonging—remains the same.

I’m running for mayor because I believe that the values and skills I’ve honed over the years can be a powerful force for positive change in our community. My background in leadership, problem-solving, and customer service uniquely positions me to address the needs and aspirations of our residents. I’m committed to bringing a fresh perspective, integrity, and a deep sense of responsibility to the office.

Thank you for considering me for your next mayor. Together, we can build a stronger, more vibrant community for everyone.
